How the ElectricKit Advanced works?
Oven Control
Press the grey button to change the value to your desired temperature.
Top Oven 0-280
Bottom Oven 0-280
Then press the power button to turn the hob on (changes from red to green)
The top number represents the temperature the oven has reached and the set value is the temperature the cooker is going to reach.
Once set the top and middle oven elements kick into action heating both ovens. Under stable constant running conditions, the bottom oven runs at approximately 65% of the top oven temperature and this temperature can also be reduced with the use of a cold shelf.
The ElectricKit Advanced top oven elements have been carefully balanced to enhance and provide a uniform heat distribution throughout the top oven, this brings a much improved cooking experience which is more comparable to an original oil or gas cast iron range. The use of the bottom element can be used to accelerate the bottom oven heat up time and also raise the oven temperature further so that it can be used to bake or roast.
Rest Mode for Ovens
With rest mode you can pre set a temperature for your ovens to return to when rest mode is activated
Top Oven 0-280
Bottom Oven 0-280
Warming Oven 0-120
The power button will turn amber when rest mode is activated.
Left Hand Ovens (Warming Oven for a 4 oven cooker)
The left hand ovens are controlled by the oven control button on the left of the control screen (top left oven temperature range ambient to 120oC). The heating element is sited in the duct on the side of these ovens, allowing the hot air to circulate through the ovens as they were originally designed.
Hob Plates
The ElectricKit Advanced includes two independent & fully controllable hob plates, This enables you to choose whether you require one or both of the hobs to be running and set each hob to the required heat, whether that be frying, boiling or simmer! The left-hand hob is more powerful than the right like a traditional range cooker, giving faster heat up times than our right-hand hob. Now available with are larger hot plates to aid with large pans or multiple pans.
Press the grey button to change the value to your desired setting (1-8). The top number represents the setting the hob is at currently and the set value is the target setting. For our other hob options such as our radiant hob please click here for more information.
